Karol Jozwik is a 24-year-old Polish bass, based in London. A former choral scholar at New College, Oxford, Portsmouth Cathedral, and with the Oxford Bach Soloists, he has established himself as both a versatile soloist and an accomplished consort singer.
Recent solo performances include Christus in Bach’s St John Passion, Fauré’s Requiem, and Handel’s Messiah at leading London venues, alongside appearances with New Chamber Opera. Karol is also a regular member of many of London’s foremost liturgical and professional choirs, including the Armonico Consort and Guest Artists. He frequently records for film and television soundtracks, with a particular specialism in the lower bass register.
He is currently taught by Sally Burgess, and has worked with renowned singers and directors such as Roderick Williams, Laurence Cummings, and Iestyn Davies.
